  • to aid in locating burial places of Confederate Veterans and setting stones; and
  • to maintain a repository for information about the Camp for all members.

Commnunications on the forum should support our mission and goals.

Some Guidelines for The Ben Caudill OFFICIAL Bulliten Board

DON'T PUT ANYTHING ON THE FORUM THAT YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO SEE ON THE FRONT PAGE OF YOUR HOMETOWN NEWSPAPER

1. Be Succinct - . If the topic requires a greater length of discussion than the 10 lines that we have given you, then draft a paper and send it to the webmaster for publication on the Ben Caudill web site. Then refer to it in your post. Please don't try to bypass this limit by publishing multiple parts to messages.

2. Be Polite - treat all of your communications with others with the utmost care and consideration - if something is posted here that you find offensive, then respond to it if you must in another medium. Sarcasm, in particular, does not translate well, please take it elsewhere.

3. Be Official - as a general rule. If you wish to say something personal, use the USPS, Ma Bell, or Email. Also, be aware that communication on the internet is different than face-to-face communication. No one can see your face or hear the tone of your voice, and miscommunication is very easy. Humor is often difficult to communicate, and you may end up offending someone when that was not your intention at all. Compliments as well might not come out as intended. If you find something that concerns you... "Count to 10"... it is very easy to Respond First and Regret Later.

4. Be Relevant - Does your post support the mission of the Camp and its goals? If not, carefully consider its relevance to the membership.
