Matt Chandler

Matthew Blake Chandler...was born on October 24, 1989 to Greg and Sharon Martin Chandler. He has been interested in the War Between the States since he was five years old. He is involved in football, basketball and baseball at Cowan (his home school). He has been on the academic team since the 3rd grade. The team has won the county varsity this year and placed 2nd in the regional governor’s cup last year. Matthew has placed in the top 5 in social studies and English composition while in the Academics. He plans on being a college professor. Matthew entered the Sons of Confederate Veterans by the lineage of PVT. Allen Martin. He has already seen the elephant during the reenactment of the Battle of Leatherwood in which he played the role of a forager and was sent to notify the camp that the, "Republicans were in the field!"
