Daniel Alan Price is a proud descendant of Confederate ancestry from the Bluegrass of Kentucky and the Tidewater of Virginia. Following graduation from high school he continued the military tradition of his family with enlistment in the United States Army which included duty in Seoul, South Korea. After three years active duty Dan continued his education at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and while attending college he enlisted in the Indiana Army National Guard where following graduation he served full time from 1993-1997 when he returned to Ball State to receive a Master’s degree in Political Science. A professional musician, for the last three years Dan has toured with a 1940’s review and has served as a member of the Indiana Military Funeral Honors Unit the Military Department of Indiana Ceremonial Unit. A lifelong student of military history and politics, he has dedicated himself to study of the War for Southern Independence becoming a member of the A.J. Ringo Camp, Sons of Confederate Veterans.
